How can Prue help you?

At times for us all, life can feel very challenging and stressful, we don’t cope as well as we would like and things get on top of us.  At such times, reaching out for the help of a psychotherapist can be the key to moving forward and achieving positive changes in your life.

In my work I offer a warmth and understanding and a quiet and confidential space to talk.
Here, we focus on your well-being, on the issues you are facing.

With increased confidence, mastery and insight into your personal experience, life takes on more meaning and purpose, we perform better at work and make better decisions, and our relationships can prosper.

About Prue

I am an individual and couples psychotherapist and counsellor. I also offer clinical and professional supervision. My experience of this over 25 years has been wide and varied and I have been fortunate to work with people from a range of backgrounds, situations and cultures.

Prior to my present role as psychotherapist, I worked as a physiotherapist. A peak experience of this time was spending five years living and working on a group of islands in northern British Columbia Canada with the Haida people. Here I began a life-long passion in a holistic approach to life in general and to health and well-being in particular.

Therapy Approach

My approach is integrative and guided by relational psychodynamic practices and CBT (cognitive behavioral) techniques.
This means working together to empower and resource you in your daily life and explore and make sense of repeating life patterns that have become obstacles to satisfying and fulfilling relationships and functioning.
All enquiries are welcome.
It will be my privilege to work with you.
